For six months this site carried a line that read "free US shipping over $49". It was not free, and everyone in e-commerce knows it. Somebody pays the carrier — the only question is whether the number is on the invoice or buried in the price. We have decided to put it on the invoice.

What changes today

One-time orders pay a flat $6.90 for tracked shipping, free once the order passes $79. Express — DHL or FedEx, 3–5 business days — is $16.90 and never free, because it genuinely is not. Subscription deliveries have shipping inside the plan price: $17.90 a delivery, all in, every 6, 8 or 12 weeks.

Why $6.90 is the honest number

A tracked air parcel from Shenzhen to a US address, at the weight most of our products hit, lands between $5.50 and $7.50 depending on the month and the carrier. $6.90 is what it costs us, rounded to something a person can read. Below $79 we are not willing to absorb it, because on a $14.90 bag pack it would be half the margin.

The part nobody likes: the timeline

Standard delivery is 7–15 business days. That is slower than a US warehouse, and there is no wording trick that makes it faster. We ship from our own facility in Longgang, Shenzhen, which is where the products are made and where we can actually control quality. A US 3PL would cut transit to three days and add roughly $4 per parcel in storage and handling — a cost that would have to reappear somewhere in the price.

What we can do is stop pretending. Every product page now says where the parcel ships from and how long it takes, before you reach checkout rather than after.

What this means for wholesale

Trade terms are unchanged in structure and clearer in wording: FOB Shenzhen, free freight on wholesale orders over $600, Net 30 from the second order. Retail partners who need landed-cost certainty can request a DDP quote — duties and delivery included to their door — and we will price it as a single number.

The old threshold was not dishonest, it was just vague. A flat rate and a stated transit window cost us more conversions and earn us fewer refund requests. We would rather be the shop that told you seven to fifteen days and delivered in eleven.

If this changes your mind

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch, and returns run 30 days, used or unused. If the transit time is the thing that decides it for you, the subscription is the better fit: it removes the wait from the equation, because the next pack is already on its way before you need it.

Full rates and the returns policy live on the shipping page. Plans are on the subscription page.
